Terms and conditions

Payment conditions and options:

Payment can be made with Visa or Mastercard debit or credit cards. There are no additional fees added to your transaction for using these payment methods. Payment from other account providers (e.g. American Express and PayPal) is not possible. Payment with cash or cheque is not possible. A receipt will automatically be generated once a transaction has been completed.

Delivery conditions:

All orders have the same delivery fee (£10.00 including VAT) and the same next day delivery service, it is not possible to change this. It is the aim of Andermatt Biocontrol UK Limited to process and dispatch all orders placed before 16.00 on the same day. It is possible that during particularly busy times, or with large mixed orders this may not be possible. If an order is placed before 16.00 and has not been processed or dispatched that day the customer will be informed by email. Delivery of orders can be through a number of providers (Royal Mail or various other couriers) depending on which Andermatt Biocontrol UK Limited deem most suitable. When sent with Royal Mail deliveries are 1st Class and deliveries by courier are sent with next day/24 hour service. Mixed orders containing some products Andermatt Biocontrol UK Limited store in chilled facilities will be delivered in multiple packages. A delivery is considered complete when it has arrived at the customers address or been accepted by a representative for the customer.

Large orders of chilled and/or living products will not be dispatched on Friday (or Thursday before a bank holiday Friday) due to risk of no delivery during the weekend and deterioration of product quality over the weekend. In these cases orders will be held and dispatched on the following Monday (or Tuesday in the event of a Bank holiday Monday).

Every effort is made to ensure that products advertised as having year-round availability are always in stock. If an order is placed and no stock will be available to dispatch within 24 hours of the order being placed the customer will be informed by email.

Cancelling an order:

A customer has the right to cancel an order within 14 days, without the need to provide a reason to cancel. Requests to cancel can be made in writing to contact@andermattuk.com and should include the order reference number. The refund may take up to 14 days to appear in the customers account.

If the cancellation request is received before the order has been processed, the order will be stopped and a refund made.

If the cancellation request is received after the order has been processed but before the order is dispatched, every effort will be made to stop the order before it is dispatched. However, the short time between receiving an order and same day dispatch should be considered.

If the cancellation request is received after the order has been dispatched, the order should be returned to Andermatt Biocontrol UK Limited unused and a refund will be made.

Returning products for a refund:

A customer has the right to return unwanted goods as long as they remain unused and in condition which allows their resale within 14 days of ordering the product. No reason has to be given by a customer to return product during this 14 day period. However, the customer may be asked for feedback to help with continual product improvement and future product development. The refund may take up to 14 days to appear in the customers account.

A customer may return faulty goods within 6 months of purchase. Andermatt Biocontrol UK Limited reserves the right to investigate products which are returned due to fault before a refund is issued.

For all returning products a customer should make a request in writing to contact@andermattuk.com and should include the order reference number.
