Andermatt partners with Dedetech to bring combi-protec to the UK market (new product)
Andermatt UK have strengthened their offering of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) tools for UK growers by partnering with Germany manufacturer DedeTech to bring combi-protec to the UK market.
combi-protec is a UK-approved adjuvant for use with any approved plant protection product.

Tank-mixed with an insecticide, it attracts the target pest to the spray droplet and encourages the insect to feed on the droplet so increasing insecticide uptake.
This greater uptake results in faster control of the pest so giving it less time to cause damage to the crop.
This increased speed of insecticide activity is especially important for management of pests such as Spotted Wing Drosophila (Drosophila suzukii) which can fly into a crop already mated and ready to lay eggs in fruit.
SWD damage
Grower-funded studies by East Malling Research are also starting to show the benefit for use of combi-protec as a bait spray with a reduction in insecticide application rate of up to 95%.
